Stephen Rotter assists his clients in all aspects of their workplaces, including setting up businesses, advising on employment issues, ensuring workplace protection, and litigating unfair claims. He also regularly represents clients in business dispute cases involving breach of contract, joint venture/shareholder issues, and civil RICO claims. Stephen leverages federal prosecutorial and prior big law firm experience to advise, defend, and litigate on behalf of his clients. His experience also includes providing advice and counsel for discrimination matters, wage and hour laws, business initiatives, and policy implementation to defending against claims, conducting workplace investigations, creating workplace protection programs, and prosecuting restrictive covenant and white-collar cases on behalf of companies.
Stephen’s clients include small businesses, companies needing legal services focused on the workplace, and employers looking for a better way to engage legal services: modern, efficient, and practical. Prior to his current role, Stephen owned an Executive Search firm, was a Federal Prosecutor, and spent six years at a large law firm where he practiced in the areas of employment law and litigation. He is known for his practical approach, problem-solving ability, and efficiency, in addition to his skills as an exceptional negotiator.
Stephen graduated from Northwestern after earning the Evans Scholarship and ran his own company for several years before attending law school. He enjoys spending time with his wife (also an entrepreneur in the clothing and apparel industry) and their three kids, is a Bears and Broncos fan, and is an avid poker player.
